The European meetings of the European Commission through Erasmus+, in which Olympiacos actively participates, continue with unwavering intensity. On Monday, January 13, our team took part in the meeting for the HIEP (Handball International Education Project) program.

During this meeting, the progress of the program was discussed, along with the potential for broader dissemination of the sport through training sessions. The main goals of HIEP are to develop handball as a tool to promote sports among children and young people. This is achieved through the creation of digital educational tools and their integration into an e-learning platform, where modules will be offered to train coaches.

As an active partner, Olympiacos contributes to the promotion of handball and the enhancement of its popularity, while also supporting increased participation in the sport and the improvement of coaching skills.

Finally, the meeting outlined the next steps, which include the completion of the interim report to ensure the ongoing visibility of the program’s activities.
