Olympiacos will fight for the qualification in the rematch!
The men’s volleyball team will claim the qualification to the semi-finals in the Rentis sporting hall. The “Reds’’ lost the first game by Burgas in Bulgaria with 3-1 in a strong match. Although, Olympiacos won the first set, the hosts got the next ones and secured the victory. The rematch will take place in Rentis on Thursday 14 February where the “Reds’’ will compete for the qualification having the support of their fans. They need to win the game and the golden set so as to qualify.

The Head Coach, Fernando Munoz Benitez stated at olympiacossfp.gr: “It was a tough game as we expected. Burgas plays very well at its home. We started the game well, got the first set and the second one was lost in details. Some mistakes on the defense gave the victory to the Bulgarian team. We will definitely have a different game at our home, will be stronger to win and lead the game to the golden set in order to get the qualification in the fourth round of the competition. We are confident that we will also have our fans at our side. They will create a unique atmosphere giving a boost to our players to qualify’’.
