A legendary performance in Bosnia!

 
Olympiacos qualified to the next round of the EHF Cup, dominating against RK Borac with 30-25 in the second leg held in Bosnia. After winning the first match with a nine-goal difference, the “Reds” doubled the victories against RK Borac and sealed the qualification to the second round of the competition. The Greek team was excellent in defense and attack, kept the match under control and got a comfortable victory. The next opponent is the Romanian team VSSCM Politehnica Timisoara with the first game being scheduled on 5-6/10 in Romania and the second one on 12-13/10 in Greece.

The Head Coach, George Zaravinas stated at olympiacossfp.gr: "We are very pleased to have another victory over a strong opponent and achieve the qualification for the next phase of the competition. It is great for us to have played two strong games this season, while our league has not started yet, as these helped us as a team. We came here for the victory and it was an important dominance in a difficult home."
 
The first scorer of the match, Dimitris Tziras mentioned: "It's a great qualification against a good team. We were concentrated and we didn't miss the difference of the first match. We wanted the win and qualified against a strong opponent. Now we focus on the next games and continue the hard work”.
